Welder/Brazer – Goffstown, NH Monroe Staffing is a division of Staffing 360 Solutions. We are a leading staffing agency in the U.S. in the light industrial sector. We are currently seeking a full-time Welder/Brazer for a local brazing, welding, and heat-treatment facility located in Goffstown, NH. Location: Goffstown, NHPay Rate: $19.00 – $21.00 per hour (commensurate with experience)Days: Monday – FridayHours: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM Requirements for Welder/Brazer:
Must have stable employment history.
At least one year of experience or knowledge of brazing, welding, soldering, brazing furnaces, or metal heat-treating processes is strongly preferred.
Basic knowledge of brazing rods, torch brazing, welding, and brazing procedures is strongly preferred.
Knowledge of working with metal parts such as stainless steel, copper, brass, alloy, aluminum, nickel, high carbon steel, or other metals is strongly preferred.
Understanding of diagrams and drawings.
Basic knowledge of equipment maintenance and repair procedures.
Knowledge of operating forklifts and power tools is a huge plus.
Constant lifting, pushing, and occasionally raising objects of up to 50 pounds.
Apply filler metals, stop off compounds, and brazing fluxes according to process sheet specifications.
Inspect parts for compliance with specifications.
Operate related equipment, such as forklifts and power tools when required.
Follow written specifications, and initial, and date all processes performed including quantity, condition, and lot numbers.
Maintain accurate logs and monitor equipment to ensure equipment is producing the proper output.
Perform duties safely and responsibly, while observing and complying with all safety and health rules (OSHA and SDS standards), including safe equipment operation.
Exercise great care and safety while operating equipment and tools used to complete jobs.
Collaborate with internal departments, support staff, and manufacturers to accomplish team and company goals
The facility environment can be dusty and get very hot when the furnaces are in operation.
