Monroe Staffing, a division of Staffing 360 Solutions, is hiring Manufacturing Associates for a mattress manufacturing facility in Woodstock, CT. The ideal candidate will always follow safety guidelines and be precise in quality evaluation. This is entry-level. Salary: $17.00 an hour1st Shift: 6:30 am – 3:00 pmKey Responsibilities of a Manufacturing Associate
Operate equipment always using PPE and safe work practices
Operate automatic packaging machine, rollpack machine, and manually package material as needed
Perform and document quality checks as needed
Operate convolute machine
Perform other operations as needed
Perform 5S activities to ensure a clean and safe work environment
Key Requirements of a Manufacturing Associate
Must be able to lift to 50lbs
Ability to be on feet, walking, standing, and lifting for the entire working shift
Dependable transportation is required
Must be flexible in taking on additional tasks as asked by your leadership, this can include sweeping, supporting another department, and training new hires to name a few.
Attendance is critical for this client; you must show up and be on time for your entire shift schedule.
