Monroe Staffing, a division of Staffing 360 Solutions, is currently hiring a Screw Machine Operator for a well-known manufacturing company located in Rockland, MA. The ideal candidate will possess 3 or more months of previous related machine shop and operator experience. A high school diploma and/or vocational school diploma are required. Location: Rockland, MAPay rate: $22.00 – 27.00/hourShift: 1st shift 7:00 AM – 3:15 PM (Mon-Fri) Responsibilities of the Screw Machine Operator:
Operate drilling, reaming, tapping, and deburring equipment, press, and broach machines to form, extrude, broach, pierce, and trim parts to predetermined requirements.
Check parts at intervals using gauges to ensure they match prints.
Keep SPC data with ongoing gauge conformance information and inspect all machined components using necessary equipment
Record quantities complete and move parts to the next work center after the operation is done.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Perform other assigned duties and responsibilities
Qualifications of the Screw Machine Operator:
High school diploma/Vocational school diploma
3 or more months of related machine shop experience
Ability to sit, stand, bend, and lift to 60 lbs. regularly
Awareness of standard warehouse safety procedures and protocols
