Monroe Staffing, a division of Staffing 360 Solutions, is currently hiring a Picker Packer- 1st Shift for a well-known gifting warehouse located in Auburn, NY. The ideal candidate will possess experience following procedures to perform routine packing work. Hours: 7 am-3 pm – 1st shift, 8 hoursSalary: $16/hour
Key Responsibilities of a Packer
Pick and package a variety of items.
Excellent knowledge of routine and non-routine packing procedures, techniques, equipment, and basic warehouse procedures.
May require basic skill in using heat sealers, cutters, and hand and power tools.
May be asked by the Shift Supervisor to provide guidance, training, or leadership to less experienced packers. Perform other duties as assigned by shift Supervisor.
Must be able to maintain focus and productivity rate when working independently.
Must have the aptitude to read various measuring instruments (rulers, line gauges etc.).
Must be able to execute physical motions/requirements of the job in a safe manner.
Qualifications of a Packer
Ability to lift approx. to 40 lbs. on occasion with or without accommodation
