Monroe Staffing, a division of Staffing 360 Solutions, is currently hiring a Packer- 1st Shift for a well-known printing warehouse located in Streetsboro, OH. The ideal candidate will possess experience following procedures to perform routine packing work. Hours: 7am-3pm – 1st shift, 8 hoursSalary: $15/hour
Key Responsibilities of a Packer
Pick and package a variety of printed materials or print related items.
Excellent knowledge of routine and non-routine packing procedures, techniques, equipment, and basic warehouse procedures.
May require basic skill in using heat sealers, cutters, hand and power tools.
May be asked by Shift Supervisor to provide guidance, training or leadership to less experienced packers. Perform other duties as assigned by shift Supervisor.
Must be able to maintain focus and productivity rate when working independently.
Must have the aptitude to read various types of measuring instruments (rulers, line gauge etc.).
Must be able to execute physical motions/requirements of the job in a safe manner.
Qualifications of a Packer
Ability to lift approx. to 40 lbs. on occasion with or without accommodation
Must be able to keep pace with machine
Can work in a team environment
In-depth understanding of basic printing technologies
