Job Description

Monroe Staffing is hiring wood assemblers and general helpers who have some carpentry experience in worcester, MAResponsibilities:
  • Assemble wood components and products according to specifications, blueprints, or drawings.
  • Measure, cut, and shape wood pieces using hand tools, power tools, and machinery.
  • Inspect materials for quality and ensure all components meet required standards.
  • Sand, finish, and prepare wood surfaces as needed.
  • Perform basic maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure proper functionality.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace while following safety guidelines.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
  • Experience with wood assembly, carpentry, or similar tasks (preferred but not required).
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and wood machinery (training provided if necessary).
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, or instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Physical ability to lift, carry, and handle wood materials and stand for extended periods.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
