Job Description:We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background with the ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment in a safe and efficient manner. This role offers a competitive hourly rate of $25.00 and provides the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment.As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for ensuring the continuous operation of machinery and equipment, performing regular inspections, and handling repairs promptly to minimize downtime.Key Responsibilities:
Maintenance & Repairs:
Perform regular maintenance and repair on machinery, equipment, and facility infrastructure to ensure safe and efficient operation.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to identify and resolve issues.
Inspect and monitor machinery for signs of wear and tear, replacing parts as necessary.
Equipment Setup & Installation:
Assist with the installation and setup of new machinery and equipment, ensuring all safety protocols are followed.
Ensure equipment is calibrated and functioning according to specifications.
Preventive Maintenance:
Implement and follow a preventive maintenance schedule for machinery and equipment to avoid downtime.
Keep detailed maintenance records, including parts replaced, repairs performed, and maintenance schedules.
Safety & Compliance:
Follow safety guidelines and procedures while performing maintenance tasks to ensure a safe work environment.
Maintain compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Collaboration & Support:
Work closely with production teams to ensure equipment issues are resolved quickly to avoid production delays.
Provide feedback and recommendations to improve equipment efficiency and reliability.
Emergency Repairs:
Respond to emergency maintenance needs, diagnosing and fixing mechanical issues promptly to minimize operational disruption.
