Maintenance Planner Supervisor – Goldsboro, NC Monroe Staffing is a division of Staffing 360 Solutions. We are a leading staffing firm in the U.S. in the light industrial sector. We currently have an immediate, direct hire, full-time opening for a Maintenance Planner Supervisor for a well-known food processing plant in Goldsboro, NC. Location: Goldsboro, NCDays:Monday – Friday (Some weekends as needed. Eligible for weekend pay.)Hours:06:00 AM – 03:00 PM (Flexible, could be longer shift depending on need.)Salary: $75,000/yearly base salary, and full benefits package. Requirements for the Maintenance Planner Supervisor:
Must have stable and consistent employment history, showing long-term commitment and reliability in previous employment history.
Experience in maintenance planning and coordination is strictly needed for this role.
Must have experience in maintenance spare parts management and inventory.
Proven experience with predictive maintenance and preventative maintenance techniques.
Education in mechanical maintenance or equivalent technical training, comparable to 2 years of college or technical school.
Five to seven years of experience with mechanical processes and tools.
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
Thorough understanding of production processes and production equipment, including conveyor systems.
Supervisory or leadership experience. Must demonstrate aptitude to manage people, set example by own conduct and work habits, make prompt and competent decisions, use authority wisely, and maintain discipline, morale, and teamwork at a high standard. Be visible, approachable, and available on the floor.
Knowledge of CMMS maintenance software and computer systems is required for this role.
Proficiency in written and verbal communication is required to interact and communicate effectively with management and production team members companywide.

Responsibilities of the Maintenance Planner Supervisor:
The Maintenance Planner Supervisor oversees the daily and weekly planning, scheduling, and execution of all preventive and corrective maintenance activities for ALL shifts.
Plans mechanical shutdowns and shutdown work.
Develop and manage preventative and predictive maintenance schedules.
Responsible for ordering maintenance parts and equipment and ensures spare parts and equipment are available for all planned maintenance work.
Requisitions major parts for production machinery to maintain correct parts inventory.
Oversees and coordinates the installations of production equipment, mechanical maintenance, preventive maintenance, DIN maintenance program, and repairs of all production and related equipment for ALL shifts.
Responsible for ensuring that all maintenance activities are completed on time and economically to facilitate production schedules, production runs, and meet strict quality standards.
Coordinates work with outside contractors and vendors.
Follow up and ensure all work is completed on time and accurately.
Assists in layout and installation of major projects.
Evaluates equipment for overhaul and replacement.
Makes sure any required mechanical shutdowns are handled as quickly and correctly as possible, using established DIN maintenance procedures and protocols to minimize equipment/production downtime.
Directs preventative maintenance to be performed regularly.
Works very closely with supervisors in production departments to identify and resolve problems and make needed equipment improvements.
Maintains computerized and paper files on pertinent maintenance information such as technical drawings, manuals, etc.
Ensures that established safety rules and company policies are followed.
Other Duties
Coordinates with other departments to ensure cooperation and timely completion of maintenance projects.
Coordinates with other members of management to promote and maintain productive working relationships.
Occasionally drives own or company vehicle in performance of some job duties.
Ensures proper selection, training, evaluation, and discipline of and communication with employees.
Participates in training, employee meetings, committees, and project teams as needed.
Receives written and verbal instructions on the above job tasks and performs other duties as directed by Manager.
Physical Demands of the Maintenance Planner Supervisor:
Climbing: Ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles and the like, using feet and legs and/or hands and arms. Body agility is emphasized.
Standing: Particularly for sustained periods.
Walking: Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly for long distances or moving from one work site to another.
Fingering: Picking, pinching, typing or otherwise working, primarily with fingers rather than with the whole hand or arm as in handling.
Reaching: Extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction.
Grasping: Applying pressure to an object with the fingers and palm.
Talking: Expressing or exchanging ideas using the spoken word. Those activities in which they must convey detailed or important spoken instructions to other workers accurately, loudly, or quickly.
Hearing: Perceiving sounds at a normal speaking level with or without correction. Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, and to make fine discriminations in sound.
Light Work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, or up to 10 pounds of force frequently.
Worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures: transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation of machines (including inspection); using measurement devices; and/or assembly or fabrication of parts at distances close to the eyes.
