Position Overview: We are looking for an experienced CNC Machinist to join our team in Cheshire, CT. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC screw machines to perform machining operations. You will need to interpret blueprints, use precision tools, and ensure that machines are running efficiently while following safety protocols. Key Duties:
Set up and operate CNC screw machines for machining operations.
Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints, including GD&T symbols.
Use precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy in machining operations.
Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines.
Follow all safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
Keep the work area clean and organized.
Experience & Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a CNC Screw Machinist.
Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is a plus.
Experience with STAR, Tsunami, and Citizen machines preferred.
