Monroe Staffing, a division of Staffing 360 Solutions, is hiring an Assembly Rework Specialist for a well-known communications company in Boonton, NJ. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of electronic assembly experience. Reading blueprints, schematics, identifying components and color code is a must. Location: Boonton, NJPay Rate: $20.00-$23.00 an hour (Benefits after 90 days)Hours: 7 am-3:30 pm M-FResponsibilities of an Assembly Rework Specialist:
Assembles and wires basic and complex electronic boards, thru-hole and surface-mount, and equipment following assembly documentation.
Analyzes assembly errors and develops procedures and solutions to rework boards at minimum cost officially.
Performs repairs to printed circuit boards rework this defective manufacturing assembly and refurbishes used assemblies.
Responsible for modifying printed circuit boards per engineering change notices.
Assembles prototype boards for engineering.
Operates a riveting machine and utilizes hand and power tools.
Trains other assemblers hand-soldering, assembling, reworking and repairing.
Uses work order package and online bar code reporting system for labor and manufacturing quantities.
Works overtime as required.
Strives to meet prescribed quality standards in an ISO environment.
Skills and requirements for an Assembly Rework specialist:
Minimum of five years of electronic assembly experience.
Must be able to read blueprints and schematics and identify components and color codes.
Must be creative and troubleshooting and repair and assemblies.
Requires excellent soldering skills with through-hole and surface-mount components.
Must be cooperative and have good communication skills.
