The ideal candidate will have manufacturing experience and be able to work quickly and consistently. A willingness to work extended shifts and weekends is a plus. Location: Bensalem, PASalary: $16.00/hourShifts/Times 1st shift - 5 am-1 pm, Mon-Fri 2nd Shift 1 pm-9 pm, Mon-Fri Responsibilities of an Assembly Operator:
Placing storage boxes on the assembly line according to instructions.
Following established safety and efficiency procedures to ensure that operations run smoothly.
Inspecting assembled products for any faults or defects.
Loading product pieces slated for assembly onto the line.
Stopping the assembly line and halting production if machinery fails or a major defect is detected.
Maintaining a record of mechanical repairs and adjustments.
Reporting incidents, faulty operations, or product imperfections on the assembly line to management.
Skills of an Assembly Operator:
Good communication skills
Physical fitness and strength to lift to 40 lbs
Excellent hand-eye coordination
Ability to work at a quick, consistent pace
Willingness to work weekends or extended shifts
