You will play a key role in ensuring the timely and efficient processing of shipments and deliveries.Responsibilities:
Receiving Shipments:
Unload incoming shipments and verify accuracy of received items.
Inspect goods for damage or defects and report any issues to management.
Ensure all items are properly labeled and stored according to company procedures.
Shipping Orders:
Prepare and pack orders for shipment according to customer specifications.
Verify the correct items, quantities, and shipping addresses are included in each shipment.
Coordinate with couriers and shipping carriers to ensure on-time delivery.
Inventory Management:
Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning, labeling, and tracking items.
Assist in cycle counts and regular stock checks to ensure inventory accuracy.
Ensure proper storage and organization of products in the warehouse.
Documentation:
Complete shipping and receiving paperwork, including packing slips, bills of lading, and inventory logs.
Ensure all documentation is accurate and submitted on time to management.
Teamwork and Communication:
Collaborate with other warehouse staff to meet deadlines and maintain workflow.
Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members about any issues or concerns.
Safety and Cleanliness:
Follow safety protocols and guidelines while handling products, tools, and machinery.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including cleaning up after shipments and ensuring the warehouse remains tidy.
