Monroe Staffing, a division of Staffing 360 Solutions, is seeking an experienced Sanitation Supervisor for a well-known fishery in New Bedford, Mass. The ideal candidate would have at least 5 years’ experience working as a supervisor in food industry/ production environments. Location: New Bedford, MA Pay rate: 70-80K/Yearly BOE Shift: 6PM-2:30AM or as needed based on production The duties and responsibilities of the Sanitation Supervisor will include: • Direct reports: 8 – 15 Sanitation techs • Responsible for coordination and completion of Sanitation cleaning on 2nd shift/ overnight 6pm-finish (8- 12 hours shifts) • Work closely with QC Manager to ensure compliance on all sanitation and food safety policies and procedures • A leader for sanitation as a ‘hands-on’ supervisor working closely with his/her team to encourage, mentor, and motivate the staff for meeting cleaning requirements. • Support, train, review, coach and manage sanitation staff • Responsible for management of chemicals, machine cleanliness, quality control and sanitation to proactively and reactively • Reviews sanitation logs and implements the daily, weekly, monthly sanitation schedule requirements • Make any necessary adjustments in sanitation schedules, specific requirements and procedures as deemed necessary by Production or Quality • Assist management in developing short and long-term goals and plans for the company. Provides suggestions and recommendations • Ensures that completed work is of high quality. Seeks new methods to accomplish departmental tasks • Initiate root cause and corrective action by reporting any food safety or quality problems with QC Manager #PROVIDENCE #NEWBEDORD
