Monroe Staffing, a division of Staffing 360 Solutions, is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for a well-established company in Attleboro, Mass. The ideal candidate would have at least 3 years of experience working as a Maintenance Technician in an Automation Dept. Location: Attleboro, MAPay rate:$25+/hr (Rate depends on experience.)Shift: 3:30PM-12:00AM M-FSummary:Troubleshoot, repair, and adjust automation machines and associated secondary equipment as requires to restore and/or continue safe and efficient operations.The duties and responsibilities will include the following, other duties may be assigned:
Ensures that all tasks are performed in a safe and responsible manner
Visually inspects and tests machinery and equipment, using electrical and electronic test equipment.
Responds to requests of other supervisors when Production supervision is not available.
Dismantles defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts, following specifications and blueprints and using precision-measuring instruments and tools.
Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery, using rags, brushes and grease gun.
Installs and repairs electrical apparatus, such as transformers and wiring, and electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment.
Lays out, assembles, installs and maintains pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and repairs and replaced gauges, vales, pressure regulators, and related equipment.
Troubleshoots and repairs hydraulic, electrical and mechanical systems.
Performs assigned preventative maintenance tasks.
Fabricates/installs machinery or equipment according to blueprints and other specifications.
Performs mechanical, electrical and hydraulic maintenance on automated machinery and equipment.
With assistance, performs programming on automated machinery and equipment.
Communicates with suppliers on special problems and projects.
Assists in maintaining records, documents, and schematics on equipment.
Optional, operates welding equipment to repairs or fabricate e.
Performs other miscellaneous activities as assigned by management.
This position also requires that an individual shows personal initiative and continually prepares to accept a higher level of responsibility, by training for future advancement and/or for higher level positions.

Computers, Drafting Tools, Electric Eraser, Pencils, Pens, Weight Scales, Blueprints, Charts, Handbooks, Light Table, Measuring Scales, Preliminary Plans.
