Monroe Staffing, a division of Staffing 360 Solutions, is currently looking for a Facilities Mechanic for a large refrigerant management service in Bridgeton NJ. The ideal candidate must show completion of a recognized vocational education program in HVAC/R or 1 year’s work experience in the field. The candidate must supply their hand tools. Troubleshooting and performing repairs to the plumbing fixtures, HVAC system, chiller system, and other facility services as required. Must have an EPA certification Universal No exceptions Hours: 1st & 2nd shift availablePay Rate: $18.00-$19.00/hr. Summary of a Facilities Mechanic: The Facilities Mechanic is responsible for ensuring the company's machinery is maintained to provide an efficient work environment that supports the needs of the business and its employees. Maintenance and repairs will be performed on hot water boilers, ice machines, refrigerated Bally’s boxes, pumps, and controls. Responsibilities of Facilities Mechanic
Responsible for the maintenance of all buildings and their surrounding grounds.
Maintenance of all facility services including water treatment, steam system, solar system, and HVAC systems.
Oversee work performed by outside vendors such as HVAC, electricians, plumbers, carpenters, landscaping, snow removal, specialized cleaning, and other trade services as required.
Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on manufacturing and building equipment as required.
Troubleshoot and perform minor reactive repairs to the building structure, plumbing fixtures, HVAC system, steam system, and other facility services as required.
Modify and/or fabricate auxiliary equipment to support and improve the production process.
Prepare facility services for the installation of new equipment.
Assist with implementing corrective actions related to continuous improvement projects and all safety initiatives.
Ability to perform hot work - brazing, soldering, and cutting

Qualifications and needed experience of a Facilities Mechanic
5 plus years of broad experience in the facility services field in an Industrial setting. Preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment, preference for familiarity with textile industry equipment including but not limited to sewing machines.
Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on manufacturing and building equipment as required.
Troubleshoot and perform corrective repairs to the building structure, plumbing fixtures, HVAC system, steam system, and other facility services as required.
Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally in English
