Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet quality standards and specifications. The role involves performing inspections, utilizing precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers, and collaborating with production teams to resolve quality issues.Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
Use precision measuring instruments, including calipers and micrometers, to measure dimensions and verify product accuracy.
Document inspection results, identify defects, and communicate findings to relevant departments.
Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and standards.
Collaborate with production teams to troubleshoot quality-related issues and suggest corrective actions.
Perform regular audits of production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards and regulations.
Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and non-conformances using appropriate quality management software.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
Train and educate staff on quality standards and best practices.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in a quality control role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights.
